What do you prefer in creating a website

When trying to create a web site for any type of purpose, whats priority number one... And this does not include just getting it running :P :)

I would have to say for me its a small detail site for easy loading

I'd have to say number 1 for me would be graphics. I love creating graphics in photoshop. The sites I create are pretty graphic intense. I also think paragraphs should be short and to the point, because no one is going to read 5-10 full pages of articles and what not. just my .02 though.

seo -> usability -> content -> loadtime -> looks

User first, Something worth being on the web, Seo, money making.

But my portal I have made has pretty much standerdized all my websites, so now I dont worry about seo. All I really got to worry about is content and layout probs.

I think some of the most important features to provide your audience are unique content, layout and usability.
