One of the reasons this forum has been created is to provide an outlet to skills and services for webmasters that might not be highly proficient in one area or another. In fact, most webmasters aren't to the point that they can do absolutely everything they need themselves.
With that in mind I'm curious what you consider your best webmaster skillsets.
I've created a list below but feel free to add on if I missed something.
So what are you good at (or bad at)?

If someone wanted to expand from using "template/newbie proof" web design, what area would be the best to learn, and why? any opinions

I think basic programming and databasing would be the next step for you meuandthelot. This would enable you to move on to dynamic content websites.
Alternativly you could advance your design skills and learn Flash or animation to further boost your templates and layouts.

I'd have to say Layout/Content.
My skillset is "very intrigued by web design" so I usually spend too much time researching & reading the many forums(actually get stuck on sitepoint http://webmastertrader.com/images/smilies/icon_lol.gif and not enough time practicing...
so I'm stuck as a newbie with about 50 bookmarks & a bunch of various editor downloads http://webmastertrader.com/images/smilies/icon_rolleyes.gif

Likewise, I tend to lean more towards design and layout. Mainly concentrating on technical layout and now learning to steer away from heavy graphics. I rather have a nice fast site than a mindblowing slow site ;)
