Microsoft Office Accounting 2007

Microsoft is now shipping away its latest product Microsoft Office Accounting 2007. You can get the Express version free from their IdeaWins website (http://www.ideawins.com).

I have downloaded the application and installed it fine (it did complain of MS Framework 2.0 required to be present).

But after that, everything was smooth no restart necessary. So I open it and go through the Product Activation and then presented with the Registration screen. The country field only shows USA from the drop down list!

So UK or other companies around the world really dont have much use for this product since they cant even get past the registration page in order to use the product or even Create Company because that too will ask for the company details first.

Very disappointed to say the least having downloaded their hefty 208MB file.

UPDATE: Microsoft has released its MS Accounting 2008 line of software. The software can now be targetted at the UK market. Find it here:
